Risk Acknowledgement Waiver

At Whiskers Retreat, we treat your cat with the utmost care and compassion, striving to provide a safe and comfortable grooming experience. However, it is extremely important to understand that there are inherent risks involved in the grooming process. By signing below, you acknowledge and accept these potential risks, understanding that although the groomer is highly skilled and trained, we will always prioritise your cats health well-being.

I, the undersigned cat owner, acknowledge and understand that grooming can involve risks to my cat, including but not limited to;

• Cuts, nicks, or irritation from grooming tools including clipper blades or scissors
• Stress, anxiety, or behavioral changes
• Adverse reactions to grooming products
• Exacerbation of pre-existing medical conditions

I understand that while Whiskers Retreat takes all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of my cat, certain risks are inherent to the grooming process.

In the event of an emergency, I authorise Whiskers Retreat to seek immediate veterinary care for my cat at my expense. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Whiskers Retreat, its owner, and any trained volunteers from any and all liabilities, claims, or expenses arising from the grooming services provided.
