She is very careful and meticulous in how she grooms. She shaved away all the knots that had formed and clearly put my cat at ease as she was so well behaved. Serena17 July 2026I originally booked an earlier date for my cats first grooming however due to the heatwave she was quite unsettled and we had to reschedule for a week or so afterwards. Throughout this Emma was very efficient in replying to messages and concerns as well finding a day that worked for the both of us. My cat was very content this time and looks very well groomed!!! Ruella Garland2 July 2026I took my cat Betsy (who is part Ragdoll and doesn’t usually like to be brushed) to Emma and she did a fantastic job. All her mats and extra fur were removed and she even gave her a dry shampoo so she came back smelling lovely. I was a bit apprehensive as I’d taken Betsy to a different groomer previously and she was very distressed during the appointment and the groomer found it very difficult. However, Emma made Betsy feel very relaxed and said she didn’t find her difficult at all. Betsy seemed her usual self when she came back, which was a big difference compared to my previous experience. Emma also kept me updated during the appointment and asked further questions about what I wanted done. She also sent some photos (attached) and gave me a lot of reassurance. Aneta Wolczynska11 June 2026I honestly couldn’t recommend this cat groomer enough! ❤️ I brought my Maine Coon here for her very first grooming appointment ever, and she is extremely nervous and easily scared, so I was really worried about how she would handle it. From the moment we arrived, she was treated with so much patience, kindness and professionalism. During the appointment, the groomer was amazing and even sent me photos to show that my cat was doing well and feeling comfortable. This was such a lovely touch and really helped to reassure me, as I was nervous too and wanted to know she was okay. All the mats and tangles from her undercoat were removed beautifully, and she came out looking amazing — but most importantly, she was calm, relaxed and happy! 🐱✨ I am so impressed with the result and my cat is clearly feeling much more comfortable. I’m a very happy owner! The groomer is incredibly professional, gentle and knowledgeable. The salon is spotless, clean and welcoming, which made me feel completely confident leaving my cat there. ISOBEL Wood20 May 2026Emma was fantastic with my British semi longed hair British diva cat who had never been professionally groomed before.From the moment I contacted Emma with some questions through to her leaving after the amazing groom she gave my cat she was professional and kind and you can tell she truly has a way with cats. The amount of time and care she took with the groom and ensuring my Millie wasnt distressed in anyway throughout made it so much better for me as well. I’m so happy with all the excess fur and under fur that was removed Millie will be so much cooler and happier now and it will be easier for her and me to keep up with between appointments. Will Paget17 May 2026We recently took our cat Tom to Emma the Cat Groomer for a taster grooming session and honestly couldn’t recommend her enough. Tom is a very nervous cat normally, so we were worried about how he’d react, but Emma was amazing with him from start to finish. She was incredibly calm, patient and clearly very experienced with cats, and Tom actually seemed relaxed and comfortable with her which is rare for him. His coat looked so much healthier and tidier afterwards, and Emma kindly sent us photos and videos after the session which was a lovely touch and really reassuring to see. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she works with and takes real pride in what she does. We were so happy with the experience that we’ve already booked Tom in again and can’t wait to bring him back for his next sessions. Sandra17 April 2026After months of trying to sort clumps of fur on our elderly arthritic cat ourselves, Emma transformed the coat within 25 mins with a blend of gentle combing to tease out where possible, and a narrow quiet shaver where it wasn't. Even after 25 mins cat showed no signs of stress. Great service: aware of need to tailor to what an individual cat will tolerate; a number of options including your home for where cat is seen; and very fair pricing. Bluey is a very nervous timid boy and when it comes to grooming he is very independent and doesn’t want anyone else doing it! I was definitely worried he wouldn’t be compliant when bringing him here, but after speaking with Emma, he was an absolute angel boy and loved every minute of his groom! He looks absolutely incredible and smells incredible too! He definitely feels pampered that’s for sure! Zoe Morris7 January 2026My tabby cat Bruno had his very first grooming appointment with Emma a couple of weeks ago, and from the very first moment both Bruno and I felt completely relaxed. Emma has such a calm, gentle presence and it’s immediately clear that she truly understands cats. She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. Emma took the time to explain everything, treated Bruno with so much patience and care, and made the whole experience stress-free for him. Bruno had the best experience — he came home happy, calm, and looking (and smelling!) amazing. I’ve honestly never known him to smell so good. Emma really is the best in the business — skilled, kind, and with a heart of gold. Max Brown1 December 2025I found Emma via the vets as Cat groomers (good ones are hard to find) My usual groomer is now a 70 mile round trip so finding Emma was amazing luck. (she is 2 miles door to door) . My boor was relaxed and chilled on the drive home which is a massive bonus. Emma has done a fantastic job and is patient with the animals entrusted to her. Ruth Alli24 November 2025Emma popped over to give our medium haired boy a a de-shedding and trouser tidy-up 🐈⬛️ he was most intrigued by the bag of tricks Emma brought and really enjoyed the silicone brush used - at times as though he was having a massage at a spa. By the end of his appointment he was almost dozing off and did infact fall asleep in my daughter's arms snuggled like a baby soon after - he never does this unless feeling poorly. On his first ever initial groom, followed by questions about his overall condition including pictures of his fur, Emma managed his attitude "do not touch my matted fur" brilliantly, so I'm really thrilled how she made him calm and comfortable in new surroundings. Emma helped my cat tremendously. Freddie already behaving differently as he can feel "lighter" and we are going back to Emma for more pampering. Emma took us on as soon as we got an all clear from the vet and fitted in our little fur baby on a busy Saturday. She communicated well with us, kept us informed of progress and was amazing with our cat. She managed to keep her calm and reassured and introduced her to her first wet bath with us. Fabulous Job. In the past we have had them clipped at the vets but we didn’t want to have to put him through the stress of a vet visit. Emma was fantastic, she arrived on time and was so caring towards our old boy. I don’t think he even realised he was having his claws cut. We will definitely use Emma again. He was obviously so relaxed in her care as he even showed her his floofy belly. Neil carries a bit of a reputation at his regular vet, but Emma was able to calm him sufficiently and persist until his mats were removed! He’s now much more comfortable. karrie dimambro7 September 2025Emma came to groom my 1.5yr old Maine Coon boy Leo, he had got so clumpy he wasn’t allowing us to touch him below the head. Emma was fantastic from the moment she arrived, Leo was very wary and knew something was going on, Emma was kind and patient with him before getting started. Throughout the process Leo was scared and fought quite a bit but with her patient and calming attitude he was mostly clump free by the end! Excellent service would highly recommend.
